Abstract

The on-line monitoring system of the pollutant sources accomplishes the acquisition, processing, remote communication and control of all kinds of data. Based on the iCAN protocol and CAN232MB hardware interface, the field data acquisition subsystem collects, processes and summarizes the data which is acquired by the field detective equipment. In addition, CAN232MB can transmit the data to the field personal computer, which can classify, analyze, dispose and statistics the data. Finally, the field personal computer can communicate with the remote host computer through the Internet to achieve the purpose of the remote monitoring.
