Abstract

Characteristics of novel electromagnetic wave absorbers, multilayered and grid structures, are discussed. They have wide bandwidth for low reflection, e.g., from 30 to 1830 MHz for reflection -20dB in a threelayered absorber. They are also effective to reduce the thickness of lossy dielectric in constructing ultrawide band absorbers.
