Abstract
A domain decomposition technique which allows to perform antenna placement is presented in this paper. The technique is based on the combination of measurements of the source antenna and simulation of the final structure. To enable the “link” between measurements and simulations, the measured antenna is expanded in terms of equivalent currents to create the Huygens box source representation which is compatible with most of the Computational ElectroMagnetic (CEM) tools. The proposed antenna placement procedure is described in detail and an applicative example is reported.
