ANSYS HFSS was used to study the reflection coefficient, radiation patterns and antenna gain of the dualband DRA. The results show that it can provide two passbands in the ranges of 2.4-2.82 GHz and 5.07-5.54 GHz, which completely cover the 2.4-GHz/5.2-GHz WLAN bands. A slot-fed dualband rectangular dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) for WLAN applications is investigated.
