Yet, there are still certain issues and difficulties with the design and execution of online open courses in higher education institutions, such as a lack of technical assistance and other issues. To address these issues and difficulties, it is essential to boost teaching design and implementation, resource development, platform development, teaching quality monitoring, and course improvement. This will help to further enhance the teaching quality and efficacy of online open courses.
