Abstract

With digital transformation becoming a permanent residence of the enterprise world and service-oriented computing technologies maturing, companies are increasingly using business drivers to steer SOA efforts toward realization of digital business platforms through the identification and use of digital services. This emerging trend in SOA adoption has refocused the interest of management information systems researchers working in the SOA governance field on identifying avenues for business ecosystem alignment - business ecosystem modeling and engagement facilitation are seen as critical.
