Abstract

For the collaborative work in Virtual Reality Systems gestures and emotions of the involved persons need to be visualized exactly and exchanged in near real-time. Using point clouds for the representation of avatars guarantees a high level of detail, but processing these huge data set in real-time requires high computational resources. Furthermore, the exchange of avatars need a software-independent representation.
