Abstract

Scattering from periodic structures on the wall of a building is simulated for application to Local Multipoint Communication Systems (LMCS) operating at 29.5 GHz. It is shown that receive antenna diversity can be used to significantly reduce error rates by reducing the number of defective subchannels in a multicarrier modulation scheme operating at hundreds of megabits per second.
