Abstract

ABSTRACT Counselors continue to incorporate ecotherapy into practice and research. Greater conceptualization of ecotherapy within a humanistic framework can inform counselors on how to incorporate clients’ relationships with nature into counseling. Examining ecotherapy application from specific humanistic counseling theories with clients can demonstrate the intentional integration of principles.
