Abstract
An improved pedestrian tracking algorithm with image sequences was presented, the image sequences was acquired by surveillance cameras. This pedestrian tracking algorithm is based on particle filter algorithm, and it uses selected region RGB histogram to improve the single color data algorithm. The improved algorithm performs much better than the original algorithm in some situations.
