Appendix 1 Catalogue of seals from the twelfth and early thirteenth centuries

Abstract

Two extant impressions, both 80 mm × 58 mm. The queen standing crowned, wearing a long robe embroidered down the front and falling in voluminous folds over her feet, above this a sleeveless mantle with embroidered border, draped over her head, fastened at the throat by a brooch and falling in folds over her arms.
