Analysis of Modern Geoinformation Systems for Renewable Energy

Abstract

Renewable energy projects are actively developing around the world. This leads to the task of assessing the feasibility and efficiency of using renewable energy sources in a certain area. To solve a complex of various tasks in this area, it is expedient to use geoinformation technologies. The paper provides an overview of the existing GIS projects in the world for renewable energy. Possible approaches to the creation of similar geoinformation systems in Ukraine are considered.
