A HOMOGENEIDADE SONORA NO QUARTETO DE CORDAS: DIFERENTES ENFOQUES POSSÍVEIS

Abstract

The present work has as main objective to analyze the two main approaches in the construction of the sound conception of a string quartet; either through the pursuit of a unique identity, through a similar sonority and similar technical means of sound production, or through a summation of four different personalities submitted to a greater musical purpose. With this purpose, we examine the literature on this subject, the experiences of renowned groups and the solutions employed by them.
