Abstract

In this paper, an antenna with broadband and linearly polarized omni-directional radiation pattern is discussed. The antenna consists of four metal cylinders for energy transmission and four short-circuit pins used for radiation. The operating frequency bandwidth of the linearly polarized antenna increases with the increase of the dip-angle.
