Simple Formulas of the Capacitances for Broadside Coupled Stripline by Synthetic Asymptote

Abstract

In this paper, simple CAD formulas are obtained for the capacitance matrix of asymmetric broadside coupled stripline by synthetic asymptote. The formulas have good physical insights with only one arbitrary constant. Compared with numerical results by moment method, the average error of the formulas is less than 2%.
