Through a state-input augmentation method and piecewise quadratic Lyapunov functions, some sufficient conditions for fixed-order piecewise affine DOF controller synthesis are developed. It is noted that by some convexification techniques and S-procedure, sufficient conditions for the DOF controller synthesis are obtained in terms of a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Abstract
