Abstract

This study aims to describe the mathematical problem solving ability of students in solving mathematical problems of power of numbers. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The research subjects were students of class IX at SMP Islam Al-I'tishom. The research instrument was in the form of a test as many as 3 questions about the description of problem solving abilities and the material used was power numbers.
