The implementation of DGS incorporated at the groundplane is to achieve the antenna property in obtaining multiband frequency characteristic. From the characterization result, it shows that the realized antenna has multiband frequency response in the frequency range of 1-3GHz. Abstract

In this paper, a technique of substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) is applied for designing and realizing multiband antenna. The proposed antenna is intended to satisfy the demand of wireless communication application.
