Abstract

Solar photovoltaic technology produced electricity by conversion of solar radiation, it is the raison why this technology is friendly to the environment, in the daytime solar PV technology does not consume fossil energy that produces CO2 emissions, but it consumes energy in the phase of extraction of the raw material, manufacturing, transportation and installation...etc. this paper aims to investigate the energy requirement (consumption) of PV modules and Balance of the systems (BOS) and calculated the energy pay-back time and CO2 emission profit of monocrystalline photovoltaic system.
