Abstract
In recent years, there has been an increased interest in the joint measurement of environmental noise levels. The cost and immobility of professional measuring instruments is currently the main limitation of the number of measurement points. This article proposes an approach to the collection and research of data on noise pollution generated by highways when using software for mobile devices of its own design. Software has been developed for mobile devices to record the spectrum, control the noise level and track the location of the device during recording, as well as an assessment of the drop in the noise volume level depending on the distance to roadway and frequency, as well as evaluation of the effectiveness of the use of noise shields.
