Abstract

This paper presents the findings of the study investigating the utilization of electricity produced by the solar photovoltaic (PV) system installed in a house for satisfying the energy demand of a family for one year. The evaluation of the self-consumption has been done using a PV plant installed on the coastal site of Bou Ismaïl (Algeria), the energy demand is based on the specific energy needs of the house for each season.
