Research on the Feature Displacement Map of the Facial Expression

Abstract

In order to research the feature displacement maps of facial expression, this paper mainly adopted histogram equalization, median filter, gray project and some other methods to deal with the images. After all preparation steps mentioned above, compared to neutral facial expression, the “complex” expression’s difference images were obtained, in which the characteristics of the feature displacement maps are highlighted.
