Abstract

With the maturity of wireless communication technology, the ubiquitous power Internet of things (PIoT) has also been developed rapidly in recent years. Due to the wide variety of power services, different services have different requirements for communication networks. Therefore, the feasibility of network slicing technology in the PIoT needs to be considered. In this paper, we first introduce the key technologies of network slicing. Then, we analyze the power services and its requirements on wireless communication. And finally, we study the combination point of network slicing technology and different services of smart grid.
