Abstract

This paper represents a comparative study on the major thirteen solar cell simulators such as PC1D, AMPS-1D, wxAMPS-1D, SCAPS-1D, ASA, Gpvdm, ASPIN, PECSIM, SETFOS, AFORS-HET, ADEPT, SILVACO ALTAS and TCAD. The inventive year, software development platform, semiconductor model and applications of these simulators have been studied for developing a new solar cell simulator.
