Furthermore, we analyzed the symbol error rate (SER), signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR), transmit beampattern and communication data rate. Numerical results have verified the effectiveness of the proposed system. Abstract

Recently, the dual use of single waveform for joint radar and communications operation has gained significant attention. In this paper, we put forward frequency diverse array (FDA) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar employing Costas signal waveforms for information symbol to be embedded when radiated.
