The Computational Model of Hitting Probability for Gun to Fire on Ground Target

Abstract

During gun firing on ground target, the hitting probability is to estimate the firing efficiency of gun. Based on the characteristic for gun to shoot at ground target, the firing errors of gun and calculation method of target's area are analysed, then the hitting probability models of single shot and multiple shots are put forward. This provides scientific evidence for user of gun to reckon combat capability of gun and make decisions during firing on ground target.
