We use the error property and error bound based on transfer functions where the number of error states equals to the number of trellis states to evaluate the BER performance. Abstract

The bit error rate (BER) performance of trellis coded M-ary PSK (TC-MPSK) in the presence of undesired multiple co-channel interference (CCI) and fading is investigated. The fading statistic for desired signal is Rician or Nakagami fading and the undesired interference signals are characteristic by Rayleigh fading.
