Assessment of influence of storage conditions of dispersed and fibrous fillers on properties of composites based on them

Abstract

The study results of the influence of storage conditions of dispersed (mica, boron nitride, aluminum powder, carbon-containing powder) and fibrous (carbon and fiberglass) fillers, most widely used in the manufacture and repair of machines, on the properties of composites based on them are preseted. The microstructure of samples after exposure of fillers under standard storage conditions, as well as at high humidity and temperature difference is shown.
