Abstract

Port crane is a major energy consumption node in port because of its high power and high efficiency. Lightweight is an important technology to realize energy saving and emission reduction for port cranes. Based on the study of the present situation at home and abroad, the lightweight technology of port crane is studied in this paper. Firstly, the main factors that affect the energy consumption of port cranes are analyzed. The lightweight technologies that can be applied to cranes are summarized.
