Abstract

This paper introduces the current problems of wireless coverage, including blind spot and blocking problems in the communication system, the problems results in limited signal coverage. Wireless relay system can improve the shortcomings of insufficient wireless coverage. Compared with base stations, wireless relay system has many obvious advantages, such as the low cost, low investment, and good maintenance, etc. The architecture of the wireless relay system is built and implemented. The main functional modules included in the architecture are introduced in detail, and the radio frequency module, digital front-end and digital baseband processing module are explained separately. Finally, the implemented system was tested and verified.
