Abstract
Increased spectrum coverage by mobile wireless devices is dictating the need for active antenna systems. Silicon-on-Sapphire (SOS)-based Digitally Tunable Capacitors (DTCs) and switches enable tunable matching networks and dynamic adjustment of antenna electrical characteristics.
