Abstract

This chapter covers a range of autoimmune conditions affecting the nervous system. It describes the presentation, immunogenetics, immunopathology, related autoantibodies, treatment, and testing for each example. It also covers the demyelinating diseases (including MS, Guillian-Barré Syndrome, and uncommon variants), neuropathies, and autoimmunity in other neurological diseases.
