Economic importance of international tourism

Abstract

At the present stage of development of the world economy, a large place in foreign economic activity is occupied by the service sector. In turn, among all types of services in recent years, tourism has received tremendous development, primarily international, which makes it one of the most promising sectors of the economy. Moreover, tourism along with this has an impact on the development of other key industries: hotel industry, transport, communications, trade, construction, etc. The article discusses the role of international tourism in the modern economy.
