New Trend of Higher Education Development in Mainland China

Abstract

This paper summarizes the latest development of higher education in mainland China in recent years, analyzes the causes of its emergence, holds that the strategic goal of “realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation” is the deep-rooted reason, and analyzes it from three aspects of politics, quality, and technologies. Therefore, it is concluded that “refined ideological and political education, firstclass undergraduate education and intelligent teaching means” will become the new trend of higher education in China.
