AIN system development: the customer-centered service context profile

Abstract

The author has developed an information model and system architecture for the AIN (the advanced intelligent network) which places the customer as the focus of all service design, development, deployment, and management. The design and implementation of the service context profile (a major subsystem of this architecture) is presented as the focal point of customer control of service management and behavior.
