Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of entrepreneur orientation and government support on Padang Pariaman SMEs performance.  This research belongs to the type of causative descriptive research. The population in this study were all SMEs in Padang Pariaman. The sampling technique in this study used a representative technique which amounted to 140 people. The analysis technique used is SEM analysis using PLS3 smart. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Innovation hasn’t significant effect on firm performance. (2) proactiveness hasn’t significant effect on firm performance. (3) Risk taking has a significant effect on Padang Pariaman SMEs performance. (4) Aggressiveness has a significant effect on Padang Pariaman SMEs performance. (5) Otonomi has a significant effect on Padang Pariaman SMEs performance. (6) Government support has a significant effect on Padang Pariaman SMEs performance.Keywords: Innovation, pro-active, risk taking, aggressive, autonomi, government support, SMES performance
