Abstract

Abstract This chapter discussed the structure and digestion of simple sugars and oligosaccharides and starch in the different parts of the gastrointestinal tract of rabbits. Highlights of this chapter also focused on the factors affecting starch and sugar digestion as well as the benefits of starch and sugar in the digestive health of rabbits.
