Impact of Lean on the optimization of the professional insertion process of newly recruited engineers

Abstract

In order to be competitive and proactive in comparison with the market demand, companies are currently moving towards the adoption of Lean approach aimed at improving work performance by using available resources. This strategy is based on the reduction of wastes in the company's processes in order to respond perfectly to the changing requirements of customers at lower costs. The purpose of this study is to show the impact of the Lean approach on the optimization of the professional insertion process of newly recruited engineers in a multinational company based in Morocco. For this reason, we have deployed the Lean approach using the DMAIC method (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control).
