Abstract

3-DES built on three DES cipher in order to support a higher security is basically used in various cryptographic application and wireless protocol security layers. This paper implements a optimal 3-DES system through optimizing the 64 bits key-sequence. Through selection, crossover and mutation of genetic algorithm, the key sequence is extended to 192 bits. The optimized system is implemented on Virtex-E FPGA which is more fast, feasible, security and can be accomplished in less time.
